Accessing your employment and wage information via www.theworknumber.com

	Step 1 Use your web browser to access www.theworknumber.com. You will see this yellow arrot on the right hand side of the page. Click the arrow to enter into the Employee Section.
	Step 2 After entering into this section, you will go to the yellow Employees Login box. Make sure the Averitt Employer Code - 70133 - is entered into the Employer Name or Code section, and select "GO."
	Step 3 Then you will ned to make a choice of which item you need. If you only need to provide proof of employment, select the top choice. (choosing this will give you simple instructions on allowing your financial institution to access your information through the www.theworknumber.com website) If you also need to provide proof of you income, select the second choice.
	Step 4 To generate a Salary Key to prove your income, you will need to enter your social security number and your PIN, which will be your complete date of birth in MMDDYYYY format. After this is completed, please select “Continue” and then you will be asked to change your pin to secure your private information. It will need to be 4-8 digits long. You can then have other private information changed. If you do not need to make these changes, please select the "Skip" button.
	Step 5 This will lead you to the next section with additional options. If you simply need to provide proof of employment, select the first option, “Prove Your Employment” and you will be given instruction in how to allow your financial institution to access this information. If you need to provide a financial institution with proof of income, then select the second option: “Prove Your Income with a Salary Key.”
	Step 6 Read the directions about how to inform your financial institution about retrieving your salary information. Then, click on the “Create a Salary Key” button.
	Step 7 Once your Salary Key has been created, you must give your financial institution the Salary Key number and tell them to retrieve the information by visiting the www.theworknumber.com website and verifying your employment using the Salary Key.
